I’m Mady.
Looking for a relatable therapist who meets you where you are and helps you navigate life’s curveballs?
Let’s get started!
My Story
I’ve been where you are. I’ve experienced the hardships and debilitating symptoms of depression and anxiety. I’ve spent years healing myself from childhood trauma. I am a late-diagnosed autistic woman. Everything I’ve been through has shaped my practice and my passion for providing compassionate care that I’ve fought so hard to receive.
More About Me
Outside of working with my clients, I am a behavior technician, working with kiddos diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders in a clinic setting.
When I’m not working, I enjoy listening to music (helps to regulate emotions!), trying new coffee shops, learning, thrifting, and spending time with my loved ones.
My Approach
I believe in establishing safety and trust with my clients, going at a comfortable pace, as well as validation, empathy, and focusing on coping mechanisms that you can use in your everyday life. I am passionate in providing a safe space for my clients to feel welcomed and accepted for who they are.
I utilize therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and inner child work. I am dedicated to providing quality care and resources to my clients that best fit your needs.
Clients I Serve
My expertise is in college-aged individuals and young-adults (18+) struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or the effects of ADHD and autism.
Background + Education
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2021 with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience. In 2024, I earned my Master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with a Clinical Concentration.
I have years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in a clinical setting, including behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
I currently hold licensure through the Social Work Board of Minnesota as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). I am actively working towards obtaining licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
